Spring Intramural Registration Now Open!

The MUSC intramural program consists of two seasons, one in the spring and one in the fall. We offer a structured program that is designed to provide quality soccer instruction and games to children who want to learn the basics of soccer in a fun, cooperative, non-threatening environment. We offer intramural programs for children of all ages.

Pee Wees- ages 4 - 5 are Saturdays April 14- May 19 (Rain dates will extend the season up to June 9th if needed)

Intramurals ages 6 - 12 practice 1x/week and play Sunday’s April 15 - June 3rd (no sessions May 8th or May 27th) season will end with participation in the Marc Small Tournament on June 10th

Intramurals ages 13 - 18 will participate in the Suburban Counties Soccer League with a varied 7 game schedule against other leagues within a 30-45 minute distance. Games are primarily on Saturdays April 14th - June 2nd.

Register before February 4th and receive a $10.00 discount on registration

Register between February 4 - March 3 fee is $75.00

All registrations past March 3rd will be $90.00

Multi Child registrations - $15 when registering 2 children, $25 when registering 3 and $75 when registering 4 or more.

Coach registration at time of child registration and receive a $15.00 Discount

Winter Academy

For players in age groups U7-U14. This is an 8 week training academy run by a professional trainer focused on soccer skill development. The training will take place indoors at Suburban Sports just off ridge pike in Conshohocken. This is open to all players (travel & intramural) who are interested in developing their soccer skills in a fun atmosphere. The cost is $130 which is only $16 per session INDOORS. If you compare other training opportunities you will see they exceed $30 per session.

The Program will run for 8 weeks January 7/8 to February 25/26:

Boys Sessions:

U7-U9 (8/1/02-7/31/05) - Saturdays 12:15-1:45

U10-U11 (8/1/00-7/31/02) - Saturdays 12:15-1:45

U12-U14 (8/1/97-7/31/00) - Saturdays 4:45-6:15

Girls Sessions:

U8-U9 (8/1/02-7/31/05) - Sundays 12:00-1:30

U10-U11 (8/1/00-7/31/02) - Sundays 12:00-1:30

U12-U14 (8/1/97-7/31/00) - Saturdays 4:45-6:15

MUSC reserves the right to cancel session times if we do not have enough players.

Congratulations U17 Lightning on Winning the Discover Cup

The U17 Lightning made it to the finals by winning all three games in their bracket play.
The championship game ended in a tie and after two overtime periods was still tied and heading to PK's.
The Lightning finished the weekend by winning the tournament in PK's 4-2.
The weekend was a demonstration of hard work and dedication, playing almost five hours of soccer and only giving up one goal.

Congratulations U11 Bulldogs

The U-11 Bulldogs won their bracket of the Whitewater cup Classic
Tournament in the Poconos Columbus Day weekend. In winning all 3 games
they played in, the Bulldogs beat two teams from New York and another
team from Dallas, PA. This total team effort resulted in scoring 14
goals across the 3 games while only giving up one goal. Congratulations
to the Bulldogs!

Allison and Grant were selected based on their applications, recommendations from their coaches and a personal reference. The club and Marc’s family felt that Allison and Grant best demonstrated the traits of strength, bravery and character. These qualities were the foundations of Marc’s persona and part of the reason we honor him today.

Welcome to the Methacton United Soccer Club

Youth soccer and player development for Lower Providence, Worcester, Audubon, Eagleville, Collegeville and surrounding areas.

Methacton United Soccer Club strives to advance the sport of soccer by offering players of every skill level and ability the opportunity to learn and play the game. We offer fall and spring intramural leagues for the recreational player and a year-round travel program for the more advanced player. Our leagues are open to girls and boys ages 4 and up. Our program, run completely by volunteers, provides 1,000 children in Lower Providence and Worcester townships with the opportunity to play soccer in a fun and safe environment. Each player shall be afforded the opportunity to play at the highest level commensurate with his or her ability and commitment to the game. We are committed to teaching and embracing a spirit of sportsmanship to our players, coaches and parents. (More)
