All Age groups will play 4 v 4 except 12 – 14 who will play 5 v 5

1.     Games are played on a reduced field.

2.     There shall be no goalkeeper.

3.     A small- sided goal will be used.

4.     All players must wear shin guards (shin guards are to be worn under soccer socks).Soccer approved cleats are allowed (no metal studs).

No player will be allowed on the field without shin-guards.

5.     Every player must wear his or her team jersey for each game. (any cold weather clothing must be worn underneath the jersey).

6.     Rings, watches, chains, dangling earrings etc. must be removed prior to start of game.

7.     Games will consist of two (2) 15 minute periods with 1 minutes for half-time. Time is kept either by a coach or a parent on the sideline or by

referee (if one is present).

!!!! Please keep the games moving and on time. Parking is limited at Redtail. We need to keep things moving !!!!

8.     Once the period begins time is continuous.

9.     Coaches and/or parents of teams playing first game of day are required to set up goals/corner flags. Coaches and/or parents of last game are required to tear down goals/corner flags and place in carry bags. Flags and goals are in the shed. Shed will be open.

10.  Coaches are to stay on the sidelines.  Do not coach on the field. (unless there is no referee-then coaches should each referee a half).

Coaches need to ensure proper play (no pushing, tripping or improper kicking) during game. Good sportsmanship must be stressed at all ages!

 -  the player last kicking the ball must be in the other team’s half of the field. 

 - all players must be across mid field for a goal to count.

14.  No player from either team is allowed to touch a ball once it has entered the semi circle in front of each goal. If touched by attacking

team/goal disallowed. If touched by defending team/goal the offense s awarded a corner kick.
